The Stroop Effect is a test created to help understand how our brains work when processing images or other visual things. In the test, colors are spelled out but in a different color than the color the word represents. For example, the word "red" would be written in a color that is not red like blue. It becomes difficult to say what color the word is printed in while ignoring what is spelled.
